Wolf & Nomad Gallery is excited to return to SCOPE Miami Beach this December for another major presentation during Art Basel Miami, bringing together an exceptional four artist showcase celebrating the richness, diversity, and evolving perspectives of contemporary Latin American art.
This year, we are proud to present an all female exhibition featuring four distinctive artistic voices: Pajarito, Carla Freschi, Alejandra Aristizabal, and Vanessa Valero. Bringing together a selection of new works and elevated series, the presentation highlights the artists’ continued exploration of material, cultural heritage, identity, and contemporary expression, with a particular emphasis on the transformative possibilities of textile art and mixed media.
Returning favorites Pajarito, Carla Freschi, and Alejandra Aristizabal will each present compelling new bodies of work, offering fresh perspectives on their established artistic practices. Joining the presentation is Vanessa Valero, making her Art Basel Miami debut with an exciting exploration of sculptural textiles and mixed media embroidery, further expanding the dialogue between tradition, material, and contemporary form.
Set within the newly designed SCOPE pavilions on the sands of Miami Beach, Wolf & Nomad will produce a large scale presentation designed to engage both returning collectors and new international visitors. Through a thoughtful curatorial dialogue connecting cultural heritage, personal identity, and innovative material practices across Latin America, the exhibition celebrates the individuality of each artist while revealing the shared sensibilities that bring their work together.
Following the success of previous Miami presentations, we look forward to welcoming our growing community of collectors, supporters, and art enthusiasts for another memorable edition on the sands of South Beach. We are excited to share this remarkable group of artists and their newest work during one of the most anticipated weeks in the international art calendar.
